Pushkar Resorts sprawls over 15 acres in the idyllic Ganehhra Village 8 kms outside Pushkar. The natural ambience inside creates a seamless flow between outdoors and indoors, with lush green landscaping, small water bodies and birdcall. Pushkar Resorts is indeed a modern-day oasis in the midst of the hectic conventional heritage tourism circuit in Rajasthan.
The reception area is small and casual: it features a shop where guests can buy leather-ware, swimming trunks, books, photographs and movies. The reception block also houses the recreation room and sports equipment. Paintings by S.K Mani and M. Sivanesan are placed all over.
There is an abundant fruit orchard which houses a variety of flora (mangoes, amla, guavas, bananas) and fauna (peacocks, guinea fowl, tortoises, and turkeys). The central lawn area surrounds the swimming pool & sun-deck. These are flanked by the volleyball court and croquet pitch. The four clusters of cottages are located on three sides of the resort with the pool as the centre-point.

Spa - The Kaivalya Spa features a Jacuzzi, steam rooms and a wide variety of massages and treatments. Health snacks and drinks are also available from the special spa menu. Yoga & meditation classes can be arranged on request.
Conference Hall – Pushkar Resorts features an air-conditioned conference hall which can accommodate up to 200 people. All modern conferencing facilities - projectors, audio-visual equipments, pre-conferencing area - are available. It is a convenient venuw for business conventions & corporate meets as well as family get-togethers & private banquets.
Travel Desk – We provide travel services to our guests. Taxis can be arranged for sight-seeing or inter-city travel. There is also a pick-up & drop facility to and from Ajmer station.
Swimming Pool – The swimming pool and sun-deck is at the heart of the resort. It is open from 0730 hrs to 1900 hrs. For your safety and the safety of others, kindly follow the pool area regulations.
Sports & Recreational Facilities - Sports that guests might indulge in at the resort are badminton, sand volleyball, swimming, table tennis, croquet and putting & chipping. Additionally, there are board games, a library with a diverse range of books and a collection of classic movies available on request.
Open areas – The badminton court, sand volleyball court, golf area, croquet ground and open lawns add to the re-invigorating atmosphere of Pushkar Resorts. These are ideal for children to play or just hang around.
Vehicles on rent – We provide guests with bicycles, motorcycles and jeeps on rent.

Activities :
Royal Kafila – The Royal Kafila comprises of multiple camel carts exquisitely designed and decorated to reflect designs prevalent in the past. The Kafila journey to Pushkar is approximately 40 minutes. The Brahma temple, bathing ghats and quaint bazaar are the destinations.
Camel Safari – Individual camels can also be arranged for similar trips. The camel safari makes a short visit to the village settlements to see and meet, village craftsmen, the village elders and sample traditional Rajasthani food. Camel safaris also pass through the city and visit the important pilgrimage destinations.
Horse Safari –The horse safari starts in the beautiful countryside around Pushkar on fine Marwari horses. The ride takes you to the city and nearby villages. You can cover about 20 km on the horses, visit villages & temples and travel through scenic area noted for wildlife, colourful villages and farming communities. The safari is accompanied by a friendly and experienced guide who can take care of horses as well as the riders.
Cultural Programme – Rajasthan is known for its distinctive culture and colourful traditions. Rajasthani Kalbelia dance performance can be arranged in our resort as well at the sand dunes. Kalbelia folk are snake charmers. The women sing and dance while men play music on the been, dholak or daphli. The dancers wear dresses embroidered with colourful beads. Another cultural performance which can be arranged on request is the Kachi Ghori (dummy horse).
Picnic at Mango Orchard – The fruit orchard is a sprawling area where trees and plants of various kinds are found: mangoes, bananas, amla and many more. There is also an animal farm inside the orchard where one can see: peacocks, guinea-fowl, ducks, squirrels, tortoises and numerous species of birds. Picnic parties with hampers can be arranged for our guests inside the orchard.
Dinner in Dunes – The dinner in the dunes is arranged both inside the resort area and outside. In case of the latter, prior permission would be required from the authorities: hence, we would need significant advance notice. The food is packed in hampers to be take to the destination. Cultural performances and bonfires are also options available to guests. |
