The surrounding forest is extremely rich in Himalayan wildlife and various birds of high altitudes. There are several treks leading from the resort through the dense forest to the surrounding lakes.

How to Reach :
By Train

Ranikhet Express from Delhi to Kathgodam is a convenient overnight train with AC sleeper coaches; arrive Kathgodm at 5:30 AM and drive up to Mountain Club over 22 km or 40 mins. An alternate train is Uttar Sampark Kranti Express, departing Delhi at noon and arriving Kathgodam around 11 PM.

By Road
300 km from Delhi via Hapur bye pass, Gajraula, Moradabad bye pass, Rampur, Rudrapur, Haldwani, Kathgodam, Ranibagh, Bhimtal. Approx. drive time, 6 hrs.
